The human truth
It happens in the kitchen, at work, while traveling, during family gatherings, and in the small decisions repeated every day. It happens when someone has a question but their next appointment is still weeks away. It happens when a care plan meets real life.
Every meal, routine, and health decision becomes another opportunity to learn, adapt, and stay consistent.
People may need practical, understandable support long after leaving the clinic.
Healthcare teams cannot always see the full picture of what happens between visits.
Diabetes is managed every day. Support should reflect that reality.
The care gap
DiaCoach aims to complement professional care, not replace it. Not every person experiences this exact journey.
Introducing DiaCoach
DiaCoach is being built to help people living with diabetes navigate everyday management with support that is more accessible, more relevant to their lives, and better connected to their care journey.
A conversational experience designed to help people navigate common diabetes-management questions.
Recognizing familiar foods, language, cultural context, and individual circumstances.
Tools intended to help people organize routines, record relevant information, and build sustainable habits.
A vision for helping professionals gain useful insight and prepare for more informed follow-up.
How it works
Preferences, language, routines and context β with consent and privacy protections.
General educational information within defined safety boundaries.
Organize entries, reminders and observations to discuss with a professional.
Help follow-ups be more informed by organizing experiences between visits.
Built with African realities in mind
Diabetes management does not happen in a cultural vacuum. It happens around family meals, local ingredients, familiar languages, economic realities, religious practices, and the rhythms of everyday life.
Making food education relevant to familiar meals such as tuwo, miyan kuka and koshari. No food is labelled good or bad: portions, preparation, individual circumstances and professional advice matter.
Our vision begins with Hausa and Arabic among the intended early priorities, with more considered over time. Not all languages are available today.
Routines, resources, preferences and environment shape long-term condition management. We design for real lives, not idealized assumptions.
For people living with diabetes
Managing diabetes involves routines, decisions, questions, and the determination to keep going. DiaCoach is being built to make everyday support more accessible and easier to navigate.
Educational information about food, routines and common questions.
Organize glucose entries, meals, routines and questions where supported.
Reminders and tools intended to support daily routines.
Keep observations and questions ready for your healthcare professional.
Early engagement helps us understand what people actually need. DiaCoach does not offer diagnosis, medication adjustment or emergency monitoring.
Help Shape DiaCoachFor healthcare professionals
Limited consultation time can make it hard to see every challenge between visits. DiaCoach is exploring better-organized information and everyday self-management support for follow-up conversations.
Organizing self-reported experiences people want to discuss.
Focused follow-ups through organized questions and observations.
Fitting into care workflows without replacing clinical judgment.
Clinician-facing capabilities are under development and require clinical validation, privacy safeguards and workflow evaluation.

Our story & journey
DiaCoach was inspired by a deeply personal reality: diabetes affects more than blood glucose. It affects families, independence, confidence, and the ordinary moments that make up a life. The ambition is not to replace the people who provide care, but to explore how technology can help people feel better supported and make healthcare conversations more informed.
Recognizing the everyday support gap.
Exploring needs of people with diabetes and professionals.
Dia Coach AI Limited registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria, in July 2026 (RC 9689543).

Product development, safety evaluation, feedback and clinical collaboration.
We are building toward a future where living with diabetes does not mean navigating every day alone.
Join the journey
DiaCoach is still being built. The next chapter depends on listening carefully and working with people who believe everyday diabetes management deserves more thoughtful support.
